General Info

We’re not just a pool!

Sure, we have three swimming pools (a “Z” shaped – 2′ to 10′ pool with diving area and 12′ water slide; a 25 meter lap/competition pool; and a kiddie pool with covered deck), but we also have six lighted tennis courts, three tennis walls, tennis teams, two sand volleyball courts, a children’s playground, basketball court, sand soccer field, horseshoe pits, a full service snack bar, a gazebo and two pavilions (one screened in).

With these facilities, CRA provides swimming lessons, tennis lessons and tournaments, a championship youth swim team, volleyball clinics and tournaments, holiday events, youth and adult socials, and much, much more! It’s a place where families can spend great time together with something fun for everyone.

CRA— it’s where Chester spends the summer.

Applications, as well as guidelines and regulations for hosting a party, are available in the office. Requests for private parties within the normal operating hours of CRA do not require review and approval by the Board of Directors. Approval of these parties will be the responsibility of management. Any members who attend the party will not be subject to the $5 fee.

A Little Rain Must Fall…

The lifeguards will clear the pool if necessary during inclement weather by standing at their stands and issuing a sustained whistle blast. At this time, ALL PATRONS MUST EXIT ALL SWIMMING POOLS AND SEEK COVER IN A SHELTERED AREA. All attempts are made to keep the facility open; however, the management may delay opening or close the facility early in the event of inclement weather. The standard procedure after any lightning strike/thunder clap will be to wait 30 minutes before allowing patrons back in the water per Red Cross guidelines.

Drive (and Park) Safely!

Please park in designated areas and drive carefully and slowly in the CRA parking lots. Children can always be hiding between the cars.

Lost and Found Policy

The management will not be responsible for items lost or stolen. After two weeks, all unclaimed items will be discarded or donated to a local charity. Please lock cars and leave valuables in a secure location.

Local Calls Only, Please

For the convenience of the members, there is a courtesy phone located at the pool office. Please enjoy the phone as a privilege of pool membership. Management does ask that calls be limited to 2 minutes. We ask that incoming calls be kept to a minimum.

The Sounds of Summer

To create a comfortable environment, background music will be played over the pool public address system. We will maintain a mix of music, and publish times that stations may be played. Boom boxes, radios, etc., may be restricted by pool management if the music is offensive to other patrons. If you wish to listen to your own music at the pool, we strongly suggest the use of headphones!

The CRA Alcohol Policy

Alcohol is NOT permitted on CRA property except at times designated by the board of directors (usually every Friday night from 6:00-9:00pm or until closing and at other adult only socials).

Please review the CRA alcohol policy, available here.

The CRA Smoking Policy

Smoking is permitted within the smoking area only.  The smoking area is located through the gazebo between the tennis courts and down to the end of the path.  There are a table and chairs there for your convenience. Please refrain from smoking at the gate entrance as well as the bench seating area at the end of the entry sidewalk.  Smokers must be 18 years of age; smoking by minors will not be permitted on CRA property.
